We are seeking a friendly and professional Customer Assistant to join our team. Duties

Greet customers warmly and offer assistance throughout their shopping journey Provide product information and answer customer queries accurately Upsell products and promote ongoing promotions to maximise sales opportunities Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays Operate the cash register efficiently, handling transactions with professionalism and courtesy Manage stock levels, restock shelves, and organise products for easy access Utilise phone etiquette skills when communicating with customers over the phone or via email Assist in organising store layouts and promotional events to enhance the shopping environment Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the sales floor at all times Support team members during busy periods to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction

Experience

Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a plus Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods Demonstrated ability to work well within a team and independently when required Familiarity with merchandising principles and upselling techniques is beneficial Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customers effectively
