Customer Care Consultant (Pendlebury area)



As the face of Millercare, you will be dealing directly with our growing customer base. The role of Customer Care Consultant is highly varied and no two days are the same; from assisting and advising customers to find the most suitable products for their needs in store, updating pricing and promotions, managing stock, to delivering products to the customers home, you will be involved in every aspect of making the Millercare customer experience a memorable one.

Your essential skills and qualities



Sales, Retail or Care experience Full driving license and happy to drive a transit van Comfortable using basic computer systems such as Outlook and Excel Highly motivated A passion for exceeding customer expectations A "people person" Ready for a very different kind of retailing Willing to work at multiple branches

Responsibilities and Duties



Participating in the day to day running of the branch. Assisting and advising customers to find the most suitable product to meet their needs. Carrying out assessments off site. Accurately handling cash, cheques, BACS and credit / debit cards. Delivering products to customers homes. (Involves some manual handling). Stocktaking, stock control and rotation of stock. General administration. Replenish stock onto shelves, assemble products, visual merchandising. Keeping the premises and vehicles clean and tidy. Marketing activity including leafleting and promotional events. Manual handling tasks. Driving company vehicles including short wheel base vans. Continuing professional development (CPD) including attending training sessions when and where required, e-learning and personal research. Cover other branches as and when required. Represent the public face of Millercare: Impeccable customer service, dressed according to company policy, driving with care and consideration and always striving for 5 star reviews. Any additional reasonable request by management.

Working hours



Either:

Monday to Friday 9am till 5am + one in three Saturdays 10am - 4pm, or; Tuesday to Friday 9am till 5am + every Saturday 10am - 4pm
We are closed Sundays and Bank Holidays.
