We're now looking for a

Customer Care Operative

to join our team and provide exceptional aftercare support to our homeowners across our Essex developments. This is a hands-on role, focused on completing remedial works and ensuring every homeowner receives the high-quality service and attention to detail that Dandara is known for. About the role




Reporting to the Customer Care Manager, you'll be responsible for carrying out remedial work and small repairs in occupied homes, liaising with contractors and colleagues to ensure homeowners' concerns are resolved quickly and professionally.


What you'll do




Carry out inspections and minor repair works in homeowners' properties to the highest standards. Be the main point of contact for homeowners on site, handling issues with care, efficiency, and professionalism. Coordinate and liaise with contractors and the construction team for larger remedial works. Manage and schedule appointments with homeowners, contractors, and site teams. Keep accurate records of all works and communicate regularly with the Customer Care Manager. Follow up with homeowners to ensure satisfaction and close out any issues. Maintain a strong focus on health, safety, and compliance.

What you'll bring




Proven experience in a similar aftercare, maintenance, or trades-based role within housebuilding or property maintenance. Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset. Excellent communication and organisational abilities. A proactive, positive attitude and pride in delivering quality work. Full UK Driving Licence and flexibility to travel across Essex and the wider Eastern region.
