Gigalight Ltd is a successful fibre installation / comms company.

Due to increased long term workload we're looking for someone to join our team who can....

Install fibre into customer premises, business and residential, including splicing Assist the support team with troubleshooting techniques and queries Liaise by phone with the project office team to organise pre-installations, installations and arrange service calls
The right person will...

Have fibre installation/splicing skills and experience Have a good understanding of fibre terminology and be able to communicate this effectively to customers as well as colleagues within the business Be proactive, efficient, and courteous for customers Have the willingness to work in all climates Use and basic maintenance of a works tablet, fibre splicing machine, power meter, fibre identifier Must be a team player
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Must have
SA001, SA002,K8/S7, N27/S8 or equivalent

NRSWA unit 2 Splicing and testing SMART AWARDS PIA experience desirable but not essential Previous experience working at height from a ladder and cabling from up to 11m telegraph poles Experience in lone working and health and safety requirements that are specific to working at height Practical experience in a customer-facing role Have a current driving license Clear DBS
