Customer Delivery Driver, Monday to Friday

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a Customer Delivery Driver to deliver goods to customers, whilst also providing an excellent customer service experience. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

In this role, you will:

Take pride in being responsible for ensuring customers receive the hire equipment they have ordered, or collected, on time and in a positive, friendly manner Ensure we meet our target of 98% on-time delivery Resolve problems promptly, communicating with customers and colleagues as needed Load and unload THX's hire equipment using appropriate lifting equipment and manual handling techniques Follow safe working processes while driving and loading/unloading

YOU MAY ALSO:

Communicate with colleagues in other departments to ensure customer requirements are met Operate THX's delivery IT system, updating the system data and taking pictures of equipment Raise issues and opportunities to improve the THX operations Identify sales opportunities while travelling and report these back to the sales team During quieter periods, you may be required to support in our Warehouse and/or Workshop department.

IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU HAVE:

Experience in providing excellent customer service A valid, clean UK Driver's licence for manual vehicles and have held this for at least two years Familiarity with IT and navigation systems Experience of driving and delivering goods is preferred but not essential

The full-time schedule ranges from start times between 5:00am-7.30am, Monday to Friday.
