The department and team

We are looking for a freezer picker / delivery driver to cover our cold store and deliveries.

Working on a 2 week alternate cycle, 4 days and 3 days per week.

Week 1

2 days driving (Mon & Weds) - 2 days coldstore (Tues & Thurs)

Week 2

1 day driving (Mon) - 2 days coldstore (Tues & Thurs)

We start at 6. 30am and usally inish around 2:30pm.

You will be working within our busy coldstore that runs at a chilly -20c picking our customer orders and replenishing stocks. Protective clothing designed to deal with this temperature will be provided along with breaks to warm up and have a hot drink when necessary.

You will also be working as a delivery driver.

Our delivery drivers are the face of our business and their interaction with our customers is crucial to our success.

In this role you will be delivering our frozen Wiltshire Farm Foods meals and bringing sunshine to our customers doors (no matter what the weather is doing!) As such, you will enjoy meeting people, be friendly courteous and always be willing to go above and beyond what is expected.

You will need to work as part of the wider team always looking to help out other drivers when we are very busy. The ultimate goal is to provide an excellent service to our customer that exceeds expectations.

Responsibilities

Picking orders within the coldstore Checking in and packing our incoming frozen deliveries Deliver frozen meals to our customers in a timely manner Using our app to update customers deliveries Delivering exceptional customer service at all times Undertake pre-shift inspection of your van Drive safely, responsibly and within the law Clean and refuel your van as and when needed Contact the office with any discrepancies or delays Ensure customer confidentiality Helping the office team and picking team when required Reporting health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues Assist the team if another member of the team is absent or on holiday Carry out local marketing activities such as leaflet door drops and sheltered housing visits to attract new customers

Essential:

Evidence of commitment and stability Experience of multi-drop delivery role Minimum of 2 years experience within a customer service, multi drop driving role Use of computers Good attendance and timekeeping Numerate and literate Basic secondary education Full UK Driving Licence Able to work both within a team and independently Willingness to carry out Enhanced Disclosure Scotland checks (company pays)

Experience working in cold store Health & Safety training Marketing experience

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 22.5 - 30 per week
