Customer Experience Assistant

Role Purpose:
To ensure that every visit to Beyond Van Gogh & Beyond Monet at the Royal Highlands Centre is an enjoyable learning experience and provide an outgoing, helpful and knowledgeable public face for Beyond Van Gogh & Beyond Monet.
Duties
Provide a professional and informed first point of contact when welcoming all visitors to Beyond Van Gogh & Beyond Monet
Be perceptive in identifying visitors' needs, particularly those of children, families and those with access needs.
Familiarise oneself with, and be prepared to provide visitors with information about, the Beyond Van Gogh & Beyond Monet exhibition.
Familiarise yourself with all ticket types and ensure guests are welcomed appropriately.
Scan entrance tickets as required and report any failed scans or other issues to the manager/supervisor.
Sell & monitor merchandise floor as required.
Stay vigilant at all times and ensure all Health and Safety protocols are being met.
Facilitate guest feedback to management to improve guest exprience.
To attend meetings as required and effectively communicate information to all relevant personnel.
Promote and comply with legislation on equal opportunities and health and safety both in the delivery of services and the treatment of others.
Identify and undertake training and development as required to meet personal and business needs.
Undertake any other reasonable duties, commensurate with the level of the post to ensure the smooth running of Beyond Van Gogh & Beyond Monet
Skills
Essential :
Ability to work well within a team as well as on own initiative.
Interpersonal skills.
An active, open minded, friendly approach to dealing with customers.
A flexible and adaptable approach to fulfilling the duties of the post.
A continuing interest and knowledge in the visual arts.
Enjoy meeting and interacting with people.
A genuine commitment to the best standards of customer care and guest experience.
Desirable :
Familiarity with the Exhibition Centre Liverpool
First Aid Training.
Worked front of house in a gallery or at other large-scale events.
Experience of working in a retail environment.
