In this role as
Customer & Marketing Engagement Specialist Intern
, you'll be part of the Global Customer Engagement function, working closely with Marketing, Corporate Communications, and Sales. You will represent Elekta as a brand ambassador during customer engagements and be instrumental in shaping the customer experience at our Cornerstone campus.
This includes executing marketing plans, coordinating visits, managing content, and driving high-quality engagement across digital and physical channels.
What you'll do at Elekta:
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Support the development of marketing plans aimed at customer engagement and promoting the UK legal entity, under guidance from senior team members.
Assist with organising customer visits to the Cornerstone campus by learning how to tailor and coordinate memorable and engaging experiences.
Help maintain content in the Experience Centre and explore how technology can be used to enhance visitor interaction, with mentorship from the team.
Contribute to marketing campaigns and communications, including PR, social media, email, and web, while learning how to follow brand guidelines and communication strategies.
Assist in creating and organising presentations and marketing materials, developing an understanding of Elekta's brand and messaging.
Learn to develop customer briefing plans, and support with tracking customer engagement activities in CLM tools (Customer Lifecycle Management).
Take part in outreach activities with schools, universities, and local communities to promote STEM careers and increase awareness of Elekta's work.
Provide support to internal teams to ensure messages and branding are consistent across different departments, with coaching from marketing specialists.
Stay informed about industry trends and competitors, using this knowledge to contribute fresh ideas and develop your marketing and engagement skills.

What you bring:

Good IT literacy and confident using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Experience learning and operating marketing software (e.g., CMS, email platforms, etc.)

Knowledge in Adobe programs and/or photo/video editing software is a plus
