What\xe2\x80\x99s the role about?

As a member of the Planning and Channels team , you\xe2\x80\x99ll play a key role in building the customer plan for the JL Brand.

At a glance

This is a hybrid working role, therefore your time will primarily be split between working from home and the London/ Head Office. However, there will also be an expectation to visit other locations as the need arises.

Contract type - This position is a Fixed Term for 12 months (maternity cover)

What will you be doing?

You\xe2\x80\x99ll run the Brand Planning process, designing objectives by activity type that contribute to JL business objectives. You will manage the allocation of budget and channel resource in service of this. In addition you will support the delivery of the prioritisation framework and sizing of activity to inform the plan.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll report to the Planning, Performance and Media Lead and will work closely with the Customer Performance Manager who is responsible for defining, setting, measuring and reporting on the Customer and Marketing plan measures and targets and the Media & Channel Manager who is responsible for defining the marketing comms strategy including who we should target, how we should target them and creating a high level plan of what we should communicate and when.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll play a pivotal role in driving the collation of priorities from across teams and distilling these down to build a clear and cohesive plan

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be at the front end of the planning process defining the priorities we\xe2\x80\x99ll be going after as a Customer team

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be part of newly formed team which will allow you to influence how we operate and how you operate in your role

Essential Skills

Extensive experience of briefing, managing and interpreting marketing analytical models

Solid experience of managing stakeholders in a complex matrix Customer or Marketing team

Excel and PowerPoint skills

Experience gathering insight from data to assist decision makers

Using data visualisation tools, such as Tableau, to make data informed decisions

Commercial skills (financial business case/measures/OKRs)
