We have a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join our Commercial Department in Wales as a Customer Product Co-ordinator (export). In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of product ranges that meet both DGUK and customer expectations. Reporting to the Head of Commercial - Export, you'll act as a key link between cross-functional teams, such as Product, Merchandising, Commercial, Design, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Shipping, and Supply Chain, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to specification, and in line with commercial objectives.
This is a dynamic, fast-paced role that requires strong organisational skills, proactive communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about product development, commercially aware, and knowledgeable about market trends and customer insights. You'll take ownership and accountability, working with energy, pace, and a customer-first mindset to help drive the success of the DGUK Export portfolio
The role will require 3 days on-site and 2 days working from home
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain comprehensive product specifications, matrices, costing models, and quotations, collaborating closely with the Export Cat Manager, Head of Commercial - Export, suppliers, and customers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Act as the primary point of contact for customer and product category enquiries, providing support to the Export team across all export customers and ensuring timely resolution of queries.
Maintain and update critical path trackers, licenses, new line forms, documentation, and online portals; manage preauthorisation's and ensure all product approvals and signoffs are completed on schedule.
Coordinate packaging briefs, studio and repro teams, and marketing/PR requirements, ensuring customer specifications are met, amendments are implemented, and final approvals are obtained in line with deadlines.
Attend project, weekly export, and capacity meetings; monitor production lines, review pre-production and production samples, report issues, and support shipping schedules and dispatch documentation.
Contribute to product development initiatives, including brainstorming new products and packaging ideas, preparing showrooms, and supporting content selection for specific product categories, including Crackers.
Oversee marketing and promotional activities, briefing studios, tracking spends, reviewing contracts and invoices, and ensuring timely delivery of mock-ups, photography, and online content.
Research, compile, and analyse global market reports, identify gaps across product categories, and present insights and recommendations to key stakeholders to inform strategic decisions.
