Our initial training schedule will begin with a 4 week mentoring programme with our existing Team, Team Leader and Manager of the Department. Throughout this time, you will start and begin handling a vast variety of queries and tasks personally with the assistance of the Team around you and the Team Leader and Manager of the Department, whilst your confidence and experience develops. We will check in with you at regular intervals to ensure you are comfortable with your work and discuss if you feel you need any more specific assistance in certain areas.
During the initial 4 weeks of training, the hours of work will be 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday and you will be placed on the Saturday rota and advised of which upcoming Saturdays you will be in work.
Following the training period, we envision the hours of work to be 09.00am - 18:00pm Monday - Friday and you will be on the Saturday rota as previously advised.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Providing support to our customers on a daily basis regarding the collection and delivery of parcels and/or pallets.
Handling incoming and outgoing telephone & email enquiries for our customers and member depots
Resolving customers' queries
Chasing of proof of deliveries if and when required
Actively sourcing estimated delivery times
Pricing of deliveries
General administrative and reporting duties
Performing IT related tasks including reporting, managing systems
REQUIREMENTS:
- A passion for customer service is essential with a drive to continuously improve the customer experience
- A high level of communication skills with a constant professional approach and demeanour.
- The ability to problem-solve is essential
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work load effectively
- Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
-The ability to multitask comfortably within a fast paced and often demanding environment
-Strong administrative skills
- Comfortable with IT and software packages and systems
