Customer Sales Consultant

Camberley, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Introduction to the Role

Hello, we are Pattison James Associates - a friendly, 5-star-rated national Will Writing & Estate Planning business, conveniently based near Camberley High Street.

We draft hundreds of legal documents each month for clients to sign and are looking to recruit new team members to work from our office. The role involves phoning clients to ensure they have everything they need to complete and return their documents, answering any queries they may have throughout the process.

You'll be handling incoming phone calls and emails, keeping our customer database up to date and making sure clients receive the best possible service.

At times, you will need to help clients and prospects understand areas of shortfall in their estate plan. If they are interested in addressing these, you'll arrange an appointment with a certified member of our team to explore their options further.

Much of the work will be task-oriented, following structured processes designed to deliver the best results for clients. At the same time, you'll be encouraged to think outside the box as we are always looking for ways to enhance and refine the service we offer.

You will migrate to a position where you can advise clients on the services they need and obtain their agreement to proceed, taking orders where appropriate. We will provide full training but you should be able to demonstrate the ability to positively influence clients to take the necessary steps to improve their estate plan, ultimately increasing security for them and their loved ones.

In this role, you'll be working towards clear targets, with the opportunity to earn bonuses based on both the quality and quantity of the work you deliver.

We will provide structured training to help you become a certified team member. Once qualified, you'll be able to run client meetings independently, carry out annual reviews and support our estate planning team during busy periods or staff absences. Our group of companies also offer excellent opportunities for career development, with many past and present team members successfully advancing their careers along this path.

Who are we looking for?

This role would suit someone with strong life experience and the confidence to have meaningful, empathetic conversations with clients. You must be professional and well presented, with excellent communication skills (both spoken and written) and the ability to represent the company positively at all times.

Training

We'll provide all the training you need, both at the start and as you grow with us. So if you have the right personality but no background in legal services, don't let that hold you back. We can teach you the industry side of things, but qualities like being cheerful, outgoing, proactive, and persuasive are what really make someone successful in this role. If we had to choose, we'd always pick the person with the right attitude and then give them the tools to succeed.

Working Hours

The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm. However, if you require some flexibility to suit your lifestyle, please feel free to discuss this at interview.

If you decide to apply, we'd love you to include a short covering letter with your CV. Please only apply if you are able to commute to our Camberley office on a daily basis. Thank you for considering this opportunity - we look forward to hearing from you if you think the role could be right for you.
