To answer the telephone and handle internal and external communications courteously and efficiently, taking and placing customer orders and resolving queries effectively.
To coordinate outstanding skip and Roll on off orders daily and make sure that all customers are complying with the standards set out in the Terms and Conditions.
Take ownership of customer data ensuring it is accurate and current.
To inform customers of all aspects of the sale.
To actively sell or promote all aspects of the business.
Bring to the attention of the Commercial Sales Manager any complaints.
To ensure the customer is aware of Hazardous waste regulations on certain materials.
To ensure activities within operations are carried out with the highest regard to Health and Safety and Wellbeing of all employees, customers and members of the public in accordance with legal, environmental and company policies.
Any other ad-hoc duties as reasonably required.
Person Specification
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A high level of accuracy is essential.
Have a good knowledge of MS Software, good computing skills and use of business applications such as Weighsoft.
Must be a good team player and work well under own initiative.
Demonstrate understanding and works to exceed customer expectations.
Accountable for results and long-term business objectives.
