We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations by managing administrative tasks efficiently for our online dental training course.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll combine strong administrative abilities with outstanding customer care, acting as a friendly and reliable point of contact for our students while ensuring our internal operations run efficiently.
This position requires proficiency in various office software, excellent phone etiquette, and strong organisational skills to ensure smooth office functioning.
Duties
Provide comprehensive administrative support, including clerical tasks and data entry, maintaining accurate records
Handle incoming calls, emails and enquiries with professionalism, warmth, and clarity, especially when liaising with our students
Maintain organised online filing systems
Coordinate office supplies, inventory and place orders as necessary.
Support team members with various administrative projects as required.
Solve problems and think on your feet, offering solutions and improvements.
Email communication is a large part of the role, the candidate should be able to write clear, well written emails with excellent spelling, grammar and tone
Stay flexible and adaptable: core tasks repeat daily, but each day can still bring something new
Work independently with a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond when needed
Experience
Previous experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) operate MO but strong in Excel
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Confident communicator with superb phone etiquette and phone manner
Comfortable engaging with students and providing supportive, customer-focused service.
Accurate and efficient typing skills
