We are looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Customer Service administrator to join our team in Corby. In this role, you'll focus on supporting our existing customers, making sure their orders are on track, answering questions, and resolving any issues quickly and professionally.
You'll be responsible for processing and tracking customer orders, providing regular delivery updates, and ensuring customers always feel looked after. You'll also work closely with our sales and operations teams and manage customer orders through our systems (IFS & 3rd Party Logistic providers portals).
Generating and circulating reports both internally and externally.
You will also be expected (with full training) to cover in absence or during peak periods for other members of the team, including Purchasing and Planning.
The role will also involve supporting the team with some adhoc duties, and the manager with additional activities as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer communication - Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email and Teams in a friendly and professional manner.
Problem Resolution - Resolve complaints and issues promptly and fairly, putting the customer first.
Order Management - Accurately and efficiently process orders and shipping.
Delivery Tracking and Updates - Monitor customer orders and deliveries and proactively keep customers informed about their progress.
System Use - Use our systems (IFS & 3rd Party Logistic providers portals) to manage and track customer orders.
Record keeping - Maintain clear, detailed records of all customer interactions.
Team Support - Work with and support a small number of staff to ensure smooth workflows.
Manager Support - Take part in additional activities or tasks as directed by the manager.
Cross Team Collaboration - Provide support to the Supply Chain team when needed.
