As a Customer Service Administrator (Collections Agent), you will be a vital part of our core business operations, playing a central role in helping our clients recover outstanding debts in a professional, compliant, and customer-focused manner.

Purpose of the Role:



You will proactively manage delinquent client accounts to secure full repayment using a combination of collection letters, emails, and telephone communication. You will handle each case with care, negotiating affordable repayment plans or settlement offers, while also advising customers of the possible legal implications of non-payment where appropriate.

You'll also contribute to our internal credit control function, following up with clients to ensure timely payment of invoices.

Key Responsibilities:



Manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts and initiate contact through multiple channels. Negotiate payment plans or settlements with customers in a professional and compliant manner. Maintain accurate records of all communication and agreements. Build and sustain rapport with customers to encourage positive outcomes. Advise customers on the potential legal consequences of non-payment. Assist with internal credit control procedures by following up on outstanding client invoices. Ensure all actions comply with regulatory and company standards.

Training Programme:



As part of our ongoing commitment to nurturing and developing talented individuals, Redwood Collections Ltd have a fixed training regime, ensuring all employees are provided with the knowledge and understanding to excel within their role.

We dedicate at least one hour per week to formal training, as well as learning on an ad-hoc 'shadowing' basis.

The training is carried out with various members of the senior management team, allowing successful candidates the best possible opportunity to succeed and build a lasting career with Redwood Collections Ltd.

This position is conditional, subject to a three-month probationary period, where training will be provided throughout and progress meetings to help you develop within the role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 27,000.00 per year
