BACKGROUND TO DGP INTELSIUS
DGP Intelsius specialises in the design, manufacture and supply of temperature-controlled packaging and regulatory-compliant sample transport solutions.

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:
To accurately process sales orders and to deal with customer enquiries in order to ensure that sales targets are achieved and to deliver a high quality, reputable customer experience. Liaise with planning, purchasing and operations to facilitate on time and in full customer deliveries.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Be the first point of contact for all customer orders, enquiries and requests mainly by email and phone
2. Process orders in an efficient and accurate manner on the SAGE 50 IT system to agreed timescales
3. Process and administer forms, account applications and other requests as required
4. Take ownership of tailored administrative processes for specific customer accounts
5. Liaise with internal departments to manage the smooth transaction of all sales orders, from order receipt to final delivery
6. Form an understanding of our customers business and promote relevant solutions
7. Perform office administration tasks as directed
8. Provide cover to other functions for holiday and absence cover, including planning and logistics
9. Support the External Sales Team to deliver a best-in-class customer experience
10. Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated people in the business
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Desire to succeed in a sales focused organisation
Must be able to accurately follow all company processes and procedures
Knowledge of administrative procedures
Attention to detail and accuracy essential
Computer literate - Experience of Microsoft Office packages
A positive, focused individual who is able to work in collaboration with other people internally and externally with a polite, confident and friendly manner
Good general education background with at least 5 GCSE's including English and Maths
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Familiarity with SAGE 50 or other order processing software
Experience and confidence with interacting with customers by telephone
Knowledge of processing Business to Business Sales
Initiative and desire to improve situations, systems and processes
Adaptability
Be able to work on own initiative
To enjoy working within a target-driven team environment
WORKING HOURS
08:30 - 17:00, Monday to Friday
Some flexibility in total hours or working pattern may be available depending upon individual circumstances & business needs
