The Customer Service Administrator plays a key role in ensuring customer requirements are fully understood, accurately processed, and clearly communicated across the business. The role requires professional, confident communication and strong organisational skills to support excellent customer service and maintain positive internal and external relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a primary point of contact for customer enquiries, orders, complaints, and feedback via multiple communication channels
Understand customer expectations and consistently work to exceed service levels
Review customer contracts and orders, ensuring accurate and clear information is communicated to relevant departments
Liaise effectively with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and materials to provide accurate advice and guidance to customers
Ensure accurate data entry, record keeping, and maintenance of information within company IT systems
Produce accurate reports and data analysis when required
Communicate and distribute relevant customer-related information internally
Manage and prioritise workload effectively to maximise productivity
Provide cover and support for colleagues as required
Attend sales meetings when requested and contribute positively
Maintain excellent health and safety awareness in line with company policy
Undertake training and development to meet current and future business needs
Carry out additional duties in line with business requirements and strategy
