Job Description

The Customer Service Administrator will provide exceptional support to the customer service team and requires strong organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure smooth operations.
As a Customer Service Administrator your responsibilities will include:

  • Process customer orders and ensure accurate data entry into the system.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone in a professional manner.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • Maintain and update customer records in the database.
  • Support the team with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Monitor and track order statuses, keeping customers informed throughout the process.
  • Prepare and generate reports for the customer service department.
  • Assist with general office duties to support the overall workflow.

A successful Customer Service Administrator should have:
  • Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • An ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Based in Lancing, this role is for an organisation in the manufacturing and production industry.
  • Hourly pay of approximately 12.50 - 14.50 per hour
  • Temporary role with potential to go permanent
