After Care Advisor

Salary 26,000 (FTE)

This role is permanent and Part-time, where you will be working 27.5 hours per week

Monday - Friday 8:00 - 14:00

We treat all of our pets with the same dignity and respect, as we help them to cross over the rainbow bridge.

We are looking for someone who can provide a respectful and thorough service to our client's much-loved pets.

Key Responsibilities:

Treat the animals in our care with dignity and respect

Accurately input information about pets in our care on our systems

Prepare invoices for vet practices and clients on Sage200

Answer incoming calls from clients in an empathetic and professional manner

Calling out to clients / vets where we have received pets into our care

Be able to multi-task in a busy aftercare environment

Carry out ink and clay impressions of an extremely high quality occasionally

Offer the range of caskets and keepsakes that we provide

Take payments using a desk based card terminal

Confidently help devastated and extremely emotional clients

Carry out 'Gold Leaf' collections of deceased pets if required (Driving)

Manage client's pet burials from start to finish

Help clients to say their goodbyes in our chapel of rest

Things to consider before applying for this role:

Am I willing to do whatever it takes to ensure a client's wishes are met?

You may be required to handle pet bodily fluids (with PPE). Could you do this?

You will be handling deceased pets paws and doing ink nose prints, could you do this?

Some pets may have had a traumatic passing, could you handle this?

There may be some lifting and handling of deceased pets, are you physically fit?

You may need to help prepare a deceased pet for viewing by the owners. Are you comfortable with washing, dry shampooing, drying, brushing and combing the pet?

Could you deal with a pet where nature has taken its course faster than normal?
