Customer Service Advisor

Job Description

The Customer Service Advisor acts as the liaison between customers and the vehicle service team. They are responsible for understanding customer vehicle concerns, scheduling service appointments, providing repair estimates, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

Key Responsibilities



1. Customer Interaction



Greet customers warmly and professionally as they arrive. Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle symptoms and service requests. Explain repair and maintenance needs in layman's terms.

2. Service Coordination



Schedule service appointments and allocate workshop time efficiently. Coordinate with technicians and workshop staff to ensure timely service delivery. Monitor the progress of vehicles in the workshop and keep customers updated.

3. Sales & Upselling



Recommend additional services or repairs based on vehicle condition, history, and manufacturer recommendations. Provide clear and accurate cost estimates. Promote service packages, warranties, and special offers.

4. Administrative Tasks



Open and close repair orders in the system. Maintain accurate service records and logs. Process payments and handle customer invoices.

5. Customer Service & Follow-Up



Address customer complaints or concerns professionally and efficiently (In coordination with Management). Follow up post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Maintain a high level of customer retention and positive service ratings.

Required Qualifications & Skills:



Previous experience in a service advisor or customer-facing automotive role preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills. Good organizational and time management abilities. Proficiency with service software and Microsoft Office. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
