Job Description

We are the UK's leading manufacturer of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS), operating from a purpose built factory in Bradford, West Yorkshire. With over 30 years experience of supplying EPS for packaging, insulation and construction applications, we pride ourselves on the quality of our products and services provided to our customers.

We are seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team; ideally from a manufacturing background but not essential. You must be comfortable speaking on the telephone and have the ability to create a good rapport with customers.

Customer Service



Take and process orders ensuring all are put into the system accurately Responding to sales and service inquiries Providing quotations Answering customers' questions, resolving their concerns, and providing additional information via calls and emails. Liaising with production and transport teams to co-ordinate delivery dates to suit customer needs and to keep the customer updated with delivery times Manage all administration duties associated with the role

Comply with company health and safety rules Adhering to agreed processes and quality systems. Any other duties as directed by the Customer Relationship Manager

Excellent telephone manner Customer focused / sales orientated Excellent verbal & written communication with active listening skills Excellent numeracy skills Excellent administration/organisation skills with ability to multitask & prioritise Ability to work independently and as part of a team Highly accurate and with very strong attention to detail Proactive with initiative

Requirements - experience:



Sales experience. Working to targets Previously worked in a customer service environment UK geographical knowledge Handling multiple calls and emails daily Sage Experience preferred

Requirements - qualifications



Minimum GCSE English/ Mathematics (C) Ideally A level/graduate calibre Good Microsoft Office skills Full driving license preferable
