The starting salary is 27,000 rising to 28,000 on successful completion of probation.

The role is full time (37 hours per week) and is based in our office on Blackbrook Business Park in Taunton, TA1 2PE. Suitable candidates must live within a commutable distance to our office in Taunton (we recommend within 15 miles).

About the role



The Major Corporate Division are responsible for looking after our Global Brand and Major Enterprise customers, including many of Britain's largest and most well-known companies. The division provides excellent customer service to scheme members requiring medical treatment and assistance accessing their Healthcare Plans. A Customer Support Officer is the first point of contact for all customers enquiries and is predominately a telephone-based role dealing with a high volume of inbound calls. These roles help support our customers in their times of need including registering a claim and helping customers to find the right medical professional so they can access the best possible treatment - essentially delivering a service you are proud of. You will be surrounded by a great team enabling you to thrive and really make a difference to others.

Our office opening hours are Monday - Friday 08:00 - 19:00 and Saturdays 09:00 - 12:00 and you could work a variety of shifts within these times. (Evenings and Saturdays are fairly split amongst the team).

About you



This role is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering the highest levels of customer service. You will have previous experience of working in a telephone based role, have personal resilience due to the fast paced and sometimes complex nature of the calls that you will take, including discussing personal or sensitive health issues. You will also have confidence, fantastic communication skills and are comfortable working independently but will also thrive as part of a team.
