About the Role
We are a rapidly expanding automotive insurance company seeking a proactive and customer-focused
Customer Service Advisor
to join our Ilford team. You will be responsible for handling warranty and GAP insurance quotations for both new and existing customers, as well as supporting customer enquiries related to cancellations, amendments, and general policy requirements.
This role is ideal for someone with strong telephone-based customer service experience and a positive, solution-driven attitude. Previous experience in a call centre, automotive, or insurance environment is beneficial but
not essential
.
Key Responsibilities
Provide accurate and timely warranty and GAP insurance quotations to customers and dealership partners.
Handle inbound and outbound calls in a professional manner.
Support existing customers with policy amendments, renewals, cancellations, and general queries.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, terms, and compliance requirements.
Log and update customer information and interactions in the CRM system.
Build positive relationships with dealership clients including Ford, and other partners.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering clear, friendly, and knowledgeable assistance.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet team KPIs and service standards.
Skills & Experience Required
Previous telephone-based customer service experience (min 2 years essential).
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
A positive and professional approach when handling customer enquiries.
Ability to manage workloads, multitask, and remain calm under pressure.
Good attention to detail and accuracy when processing data and quotations.
Confidence using computer systems and CRM platforms.
Desirable (but not essential)
Previous experience working in a call centre, automotive, insurance, or Financial Services environment.
Knowledge of warranty or GAP insurance products.
Experience working with dealership networks or customer-facing retail clients.

Currently working hybrid 3 days in the office 2 days from home per week
(You will be expected to work fulltime in the office for the first 1-2 months whilst training)
