The Role

Customer Service Advisor

Circa 16,055 Salary (dependant on experience)

Part Time position - Monday to Friday 9.30am to 14.30pm, with a 15 minute break daily - equivalent 23.75 hours per week. We may consider a 4 day week for the right candidate.

An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Ilminster Agency.

About the role:

Providing exceptional customer service, you will handle enquiries, provide insurance quotations and undertake insurance transactions and general sales tasks with a 'can-do' proactive attitude.



You will also maximise inbound sales opportunities, cross selling to existing clients and assisting with renewal retention by using your excellent telephone manner to make the most of every call.



You'll need to be used to working to targets, and ideally have worked in an insurance or financial services role before.

Duties Include:

Review and advise upon customer general insurance requirements Process all customer instructions for policy amendments to meet required completion standards Identify and initiate cross-selling opportunities and activities to new and existing customers Acquire and maintain knowledge of NFU Mutual General Insurance products, as applicable to product licences Obtain appointments for our Financial Advisor Working within Compliance Framework required by the Company / Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)

About you:

This successful candidate would need a driving license and their own transport due to the rural location of the office.



Use of Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel as a minimum.
