We are a well-established Claims Management Company seeking an experienced and professional Customer Service Advisor to join our team. This role is focused entirely on handling customer enquiries via phone and email, supporting clients throughout the claims process, and delivering a high standard of service at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound and outbound customer phone calls in a professional and empathetic manner
Respond to customer enquiries via email clearly, accurately, and within agreed timeframes
Provide updates and guidance to customers regarding their claims
Manage customer expectations and handle sensitive or complex conversations confidently
Accurately update customer records and case notes on internal systems
Liaise with internal departments to ensure claims progress smoothly
Maintain compliance with company procedures and regulatory standards
Essential Requirements
Minimum
2+ years' experience
in a customer service role
Excellent telephone manner and strong written communication skills
Ability to handle vulnerable or distressed customers with care and professionalism
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Ability to manage a high volume of calls and emails effectively
Desirable Experience
Previous experience in claims management, insurance, legal, or financial services
Knowledge of FCA-regulated environments
Complaint handling experience
