We are looking for a team player who is a customer focussed, motivated and knowledgeable Customer Service Executive within the Parcel Industry. We expect excellent communication skills and an ability to build strong customer relationships.

Job Purpose & Main Duties:



- Using our internal systems to make sure that all customers parcels and freight are delivered in a timely manner and systems / customers updated accordingly.

- Answer inbound telephone calls from customers to book on parcels to be collected.

- Receive calls with queries from other depots about deliveries in our area.

- Speak with drivers to establish delivery and collection times.

- Input booked jobs onto the relevant system to ensure they are processed.

- Deal with customers who arrive to either collect or drop off parcels

- General support and admin duties.

- Enter Proof of Deliveries onto the relevant IT platform for any deliveries completed on Paper.

The person (Skills & Experience):



- Previous experience desired.

- Previous experience working in the parcel industry would be an advantage and desirable

- Intermediate or advance Microsoft applications including Word and Excel

- Confident, Strong and effective communication skills - both verbal and via email

- Excellent telephone and people handling skills

- Good team player

- Ability to take directions readily

- Ability to work alone using own initiative

Job Duties:

Answer incoming customer inquiries Stay up-to-date on new products, services, and policies Collect and report customer feedback to ensure that best practice is recognised and maintained Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies Other duties as requested
