About the Role
KDE Ltd is seeking a motivated and empathetic
Customer Service Advisor
to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a growing company committed to delivering exceptional service. You'll be the first point of contact for our customers, supporting both our clients and engineers to ensure smooth and timely operations.
Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound calls and emails to create and update work orders
Accurately diagnose faults and allocate engineers or escalate to contract managers
Ensure customer SLAs are met and jobs are attended within the correct timeframes
Communicate with engineers throughout the day to support job completion
Record all job-related and customer communications in our system
Close down jobs with complete accuracy to trigger invoicing
Raise additional work orders as needed to fulfil client requirements
Liaise with internal teams for technical assistance
Log and escalate compliments, complaints, or dissatisfaction appropriately
Work rotating shifts between 7:00am-6:00pm, with occasional Saturday mornings (1 in 5)
Working Hours
Monday to Friday:
8 hours/day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Shift Pattern:
Between 7:00am-6:00pm (core hours: 8:30am-5:00pm)
Saturdays:
1 in 5 (8:00am-12:00pm)
Holidays:
20 days annual leave + bank holidays

Essential Skills
Excellent customer service skills
Strong verbal and written communication
Competent in data entry and IT systems
Reliable, punctual, and well-organised
Able to show empathy and maintain professionalism
Desirable Experience
Helpdesk or scheduling experience
Complaint handling expertise
Previous work in an electrical/plumbing business
