Job Description

1st Choice Insurance are a fast-growing commercial insurance broker based in Shrewsbury, servicing 1,000's of clients throughout the UK. We are further looking to expand our team of over 40 members by adding an experienced client services agent with at least 3 years of proven customer service experience.

We provide insurance solutions to businesses of all sizes in various sectors. Our main insurance products include commercial motor, fleet, motor trade, commercial property, commercial combined, tradesmen and liabilities.

Insurance is a competitive environment so you must have great rapport-building skills and natural ability to overcome problems and deliver excellent customer service.

Purpose of Role



To ensure new clients are onboarded successfully and efficiently by the administration of all correct documentation and material facts following new business and renewal inceptions. To ensure all customer requirements are effectively actioned during the lifetime of their policy. To achieve objectives and Key Performance Indicators for the role To offer a Premium 1st Choice Customer Experience to new and existing clients To uphold 1st Choice Insurance Principals

Key Activities



Accurately adhering to company procedures for daily tasks such as the completion of mid-term adjustments, cancellations, declarations and all general client inquiries. Identifying and offering solutions for gaps in cover, as well as assessing the demands and needs of each client effectively Application of a precise adherence to 1st Choice's, and Industry standards', fees and premium compliance procedures Investigating, identifying, and providing a solution for medium to complex errors, breaches or oversights found Document all client engagement to ensure accuracy of records and compliance Build effective client relationships during the policy lifetime. Ensure all changes and additions to policies are handled promptly, accurately and compliantly. To handle calls and emails in a professional manner in line with our values of friendly, open, honest, and accurate advice. Matching the correct solution to our clients' needs. Striving to achieve good outcomes for our clients. Maintain Product and Industry knowledge in a compliant manner. To complete a minimum of 15 hours of Broker Assess Training Effectively use the technology provided to offer a fully compliant, prompt, and accurate service to existing and new clients. This includes Acturis, our main CRM system Effectively plan to secure monthly targets and KPI's and demonstrate this at quarterly 121 with Manager.

Experience



Desired



Commercial Insurance Experience (Not necessary for right person). Maths and English GCSE. Demonstrable relevant business experience in a Business-to-Business Office Environment. Demonstrable successful client relationship role. Excellent character reference from previous employment.
