Yard/Warehouse Operative

Hours: We have x2 part time 20 hours per week contracts available. Ideally these hours will be worked to cover mornings


Location: Forde Road, Newton Abbot, TQ12 4AD


Key Responsibilities:


Picking and plotting Timber Materials for Jewson's Major housebuilding customers Pick and load Curtain sider vehicles safely and efficiently using a Fork Lift Truck or Sider Loader Maintain and observe Health & Safety and housekeeping standards at all times Working in warehouse environment, cleaning as you go. Ensuring all routine checks are completed accurately within the designated timeframe Achieve and contribute to Health and Safety targets Contribute to overall customer service and satisfaction Commit to learning and developing within the role

Required Skills and Experience:


Previous industry experience preferred but not essential Customer focussed individual Confident working both indoors and outdoors, with a strong focus on H&S Comfortable in a role involving manual handling of bulky items with the use of a Fork Lift Truck or Side Loader
