Customer service adviser / Administrator

We are a specialist company founded in Hailsham back in 1983. We deal solely with Automatic and Automated transmissions for Cars, Light Commercial and Motorhomes.

98% of what we do is in house and consist of

Diagnosis (both electronically and by road testing).

Repairs of the transmissions, shifting systems and DSG's (where viable).

Removing and refitting of transmissions and transmission related parts.

Preparing reports for Warranty companies.

Full strip down, and remanufacturing of multi brand transmission systems.

Transmission servicing.

Software updates.

Transmission modifications.

Mechatronic repairs both Hydraulic and electronic.

TCM Cloning.

We are open Monday - Friday offering a 40 hour working week with no weekends.

Currently we are looking for a Customer service adviser / Administrator to join the team.

Duties to include

First point of contact, either over the phone or at the front desk.

Methodical approach to the guide the customers (both trade and retail), through the works we do.

Work as part of the team as well as the ability to work unassisted.

To treat customers and vehicles in a respectful way.

Accurately take down customer and vehicle details. Including any faults or drivability complaints.

. Ability to hold onto information regarding the works we do. To better understand realistic time lines.

. To either know or learn manufacturer brands and models to aid in the booking in process.

Booking in servicing and repairs of drivetrain systems into our systems.

Willingness to be flexible within the company and open to progression.

Ordering or returning parts and surcharged items.

. Rearranging work schedules with team members when parts are warranty authorization is given

Reporting to warranty companies when required.

Keeping customers informed as to how work is progressing.

General house keeping associated with office working.

Working knowledge of Word , Excel and email.

. Allocate works to relevant team members to aid the smooth movement through the workshop.
