The Cookie Jar is a boutique hotel in the market town of Alnwick, we aim to bring a level of hospitality to Northumberland, with an approach to sleeping, eating and service that is full of individual character, attention to detail and bags of style.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, hard working and reliable team member, who has a passion for hospitality and customer service, to join our team. We are hiring for a full time position, with weekend and evening availability being a must.
Personal Qualities for this Role
Ability to works as part of a team.
High standards of personal presentation.
Confident and courteous when dealing with customers and team members.
Hardworking and willing to learn new skills.
Flexible in the approach to the business needs eg. tasks, hours and responsibilities.
Experience working within hospitality is a must.
Role and Responsibilities
This role involves being a flexible part of the customer service team within the hotel.
To to take part in restaurant service, with responsibilities such as taking orders, serving food and drink and providing a high quality dining experience.
To prepare a variety of drinks for guests in our Bistro and Lounge area
Other responsibilies within the hotel include answering the phone, assisting with guest check in and cleaning as required.
