To provide a professional customer service function at all times, ensuring that all daily/weekly /monthly department routines are met timely and accurately.
Key Accountabilities:
Answering of the customer service telephone lines and ensuring that cover is in place across busy periods of lunch, holidays and sickness.
Taking customer orders via phone, fax and email and entering the orders onto the company Sage Line 500 system in a timely manner.
Supporting the transport department to ensure that deliveries to customers are recorded on to our automated ORTEC transport planning system on a timely basis and are accurate.
Answering customer enquiries or passing them on to the appropriate department for resolution, providing the customer with appropriate information, helping to solve problems and dealing with complaints.
Supporting the department to balance workload during periods of high volume or absence due to holidays or sickness.
Ad-hoc reporting as required by the senior department heads.

Person Specification:
Customer Service Experience
Must have excellent communication - written and verbally
Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, MS Outlook, and PowerPoint and to have attention to detail & high level of accuracy.
Working Hours: One Week 08:00am-16:00pm and one week 09:00am to 17:00pm Monday to Friday
