Job Description

UK Timber is a nationwide supplier and producer of a vast range of domestic and European timber products. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Customer Service/Sales advisor which would suit an enthusiastic individual with an eye for detail.

The Role:

Dealing with high call and email volumes, providing excellent customer service every time. Taking and processing orders from online/over the phone.

To support the Office Manager/Operations Manager in the day-to-day planning and implementation of customer orders.

Work proactively and collaboratively across our teams to ensure service standards are maintained and improved upon.

Other typical clerical / administrative duties.

To fulfil other adhoc duties that may be asked by the Office Manager and the Managing Director.

Customer Service Experience

Computer Literate

Administrative Experience, including strong organisational and multi-tasking skills

Strong Communicator, both written and verbal

Able to work independently and use initiative, whilst also being a strong team player

Dependable and flexible

Punctual, organised and efficient whilst working towards tight deadlines

Pro-active, enthusiastic and have an eagerness to learn

Ability to work to deadlines and targets

Hours: 40 hours per week, plus every other/every 3rd Saturday morning as per the rota.

Pay: From 13.50 per hour
