Customer Service Assistant



Dawlish Leisure Centre

13.47 - 13.90 per hour

Permanent

5.25 hours per week (averaged over a 2-weekly cycle)

Week One: Tuesday 09:00 - 12:00

Week Two: Tuesday 09:00 - 12:00, Sunday 11:00 - 15:30

We also welcome applications from those who can work some shifts but not all. Please state in your application which shifts you are able and willing to work.



Additional casual hours can be offered across all Teignbridge Leisure sites (Dawlish Leisure Centre, Newton Abbot Leisure Centre and Broadmeadow Sports Centre).

We have the opportunity for you to join our Customer Service Assistant team with Teignbridge Leisure.

As a front of house member of staff, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, actively promoting our values (we do things well; we keep developing; we're better together).

You will enjoy working with the public, answering customer enquiries, responding to emails, answering phone calls, and assisting customers to use our app or website, making their visit to the leisure centre a great one!

To be successful, you will:



Have previous experience of providing a friendly, helpful service to customers, creating a positive first impression and overall experience. Have previous experience in a customer-facing role. Enjoy helping people and remain patient, level-headed and calm under pressure. Enjoy solving problems, finding creative solutions to difficult challenges. Communicate clearly and effectively both verbally, and in writing, to various stakeholder.
