RaceTrack is more than just a forecourt store - we're a hub for our local community, offering everything from fresh coffee and desserts to groceries, car essentials, vapes, alcohol, and hot food to go. We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable Customer Service Assistants to join our team.

As a CSA, you'll be the face of RaceTrack: welcoming customers, keeping the store standards high, handling sales responsibly, and making sure every customer leaves happy. You don't need loads of experience - just the right attitude, willingness to learn, and a passion for great service.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service at the till and across the store. Serve responsibly: follow Challenge 25 and all alcohol/vape sales legislation. Upsell and promote store offers, desserts, and seasonal products to boost sales. Keep shelves stocked, displays tidy, and promotional bays to standard. Support both sides of the store - from retail to dessert bar - ensuring smooth service. Assist with food preparation (e.g. hot to go, coffee, slush, desserts) while maintaining hygiene standards. Complete compliance checks, such as temperature logs, allergen updates, and daily cleaning routines. Handle cash, card, and app transactions accurately. Resolve customer queries or complaints in a calm, professional manner. Work as part of a team to keep the store safe, welcoming, and well-presented.
Qualifications & Skills

Customer service or retail experience is a bonus, but full training is provided. Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner. Ability to stay organised and work in a fast-paced environment. Proactive attitude with a focus on problem-solving. Flexible to cover evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts. Must be 18+ due to age-restricted sales.
