Job Summary:



As a

Patient Development Specialist

at SecuriCare Medical Limited, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to all patients, ensuring a proactive and patient-focused approach. You will manage your own database of patients, conducting regular check-ins to ensure they have sufficient supplies and are satisfied with our service. Your role will involve providing product information to support informed choices, responding efficiently to patient queries, and maintaining high service standards.

Additionally, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals, manage complaints effectively, and contribute to departmental improvements. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to demonstrate empathy over the phone are essential for success in this role.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:



Deliver a first-class service experience to ensure patient satisfaction and retention. Effectively manage and resolve patient complaints, ensuring a positive resolution. Conduct regular patient outreach, providing support and product information. Identify and engage patient advocates for both products and services. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to maintain clear and up-to-date communication. Actively participate in departmental meetings, contributing to service improvements. Ensure timely completion of all assigned reports and tasks. Provide coverage for team members when needed to maintain seamless service. Perform any additional duties as reasonably requested by the company. Work towards achieving targets set by your line manager, maintaining a high standard of performance.

Personal Specification:



A proven background in telephone-based customer service, with a strong ability to manage patient inquiries effectively. Demonstrates empathy and understanding towards patients with complex medical conditions. Experienced in handling high call volumes while maintaining a high level of service. Possesses strong influencing and persuasive skills to engage and support patients. Exhibits an excellent telephone manner, ensuring clear, professional communication. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues. Capable of working efficiently under pressure, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines. Skilled in multitasking, managing various responsibilities simultaneously. Maintains a proactive, "can-do" attitude, willing to go above and beyond to support patients and the team.
