Customer Service Assistant (5.75 hours)

We are recruiting a Customer Service Assistant on a Part-Time, Permanent basis working 5.75 hours per week every Sunday from 10:30am-5pm.



The Role

The role of Customer Service Assistant is a key part of our Customer Services team; providing valuable service to customers and colleagues.

You will be collecting and organising the customer trollies in the car park and around the Garden Centre, assisting customers with their purchases as part of our 'carry to car' service, ensuring that the car park is clear of litter and organising the shopping basket availability across all departments to support the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities include:

Processing sales at the till point Customer Enquiries Cash Handling Wrapping & Packaging General Housekeeping duties Distribute & maintain trolley stock Return unwanted products to the shop floor Returning faulty/damaged items to the warehouse Ensure shopping baskets are consistently available for customer usage Provide customers with carry to car service, especially for large items General Car Park Housekeeping duties Collecting & distributing trolleys to ensure both good availability for customers and safety within our car park

About You



Previous experience in retail or a similar role is an advantage but not essential Comfortable working independently and predominantly outdoors Good awareness of surroundings to ensure safe working practices, full training will be provided
