Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a courteous manner Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash, card payments, and refunds accurately Provide information about products, promotions, and store policies to customers Upsell products and suggest additional items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales Maintain organised merchandising displays and ensure the sales area is tidy and inviting Manage phone enquiries professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette Assist with stock replenishment and inventory management as needed Handle customer complaints or queries promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction Support team members during busy periods to maintain smooth store operations

Experience

Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided Strong communication skills in English are required; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a plus Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently Good time management abilities to prioritise duties effectively Ability to demonstrate friendly phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone Experience in merchandising or upselling techniques is beneficial but not mandatory
