WE ARE HIRING!

We are delighted to be able to offer a permanent part-time position of between 16-25 hours within Acorn & Oak Soft Play Whitley Bay...

This fun but diverse role will require work in both the kitchen and front of house, as well as keeping our wonderful play space to the highest standards of cleanliness.

We would be looking for the successful candidates to start in September.

Flexibility is required for this role, weekend working is essential and our main working hours are 8am - 6.30pm, including weekends. This role is suited to those over 18 years old due to responsibilities held.

Day to day, you'll be preparing and serving food and drinks, providing outstanding customer service, and helping keep our space clean and tidy. Hosting parties is a large part of the the role, if you're happy dressing as Peppa Pig and doing the Hokey Cokey this is definitely the role for you.

As part of a small team, using your initiative and team working skills to ensure the successful completion of all daily tasks will be important.

You should be:

- Comfortable interacting with both adults and children... praising a little builder on their brick wall building skills whilst delivering a flat white won't be an uncommon occurrence!

- Positive, fun, and friendly... you're that person that kids love being around

- Trustworthy, reliable, and flexible... as a small, family run business, we're looking to add the best people to our small team

- Confident, being able to host parties and events is an important part of the role

Whilst experience working with children or in a hospitality environment is an advantage, it's more important to us that you're the right person to be part of our team. Full training, including professional barista training, will be provided.
