We are seeking motivated professionals to join our warehouse team at Second Nature's Isle of Wight facility. This position focuses primarily on warehouse operations and order fulfilment, with customer satisfaction at the centre of all activities. While the role includes some customer-facing responsibilities, the emphasis is on ensuring efficient warehouse processes and timely order dispatch.
Role Overview
This is predominantly a warehouse-based position requiring physical activity and operational focus. You will be responsible for picking, packing, and dispatching orders to maintain our commitment to efficient turnaround times. The role also involves processing orders through our proprietary stock management system, managing inventory, and liaising with internal teams to ensure seamless operations. Occasional customer interaction will be required to support order processing and queries.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and dispatch customer orders efficiently according to schedule
Pick and pack orders accurately, ensuring quality standards are maintained
Receive, process, and organise incoming inventory deliveries
Conduct regular inventory audits and report any stock or operational discrepancies
Process orders through our bespoke stock management system
Manage online order fulfilment in a timely manner
Coordinate with Card Representatives and Head Office personnel regarding stock levels, orders, and promotions
Handle customer enquiries and orders when required, maintaining Second Nature's professional standards
Proactively identify and recommend operational improvements to warehouse processes
Essential Skills and Experience
Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
Strong team player with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse setting
Proficiency in inventory management software, database systems, and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of contemporary warehouse practices and operational methods
Excellent organisational and time management capabilities with strong multitasking skills
Customer service skills for occasional client interactions
Good standard of education, particularly in Mathematics, English, and IT
Good level of physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy objects and remain active throughout the day
