Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive ordering experience. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, handling transactions, packing orders and assisting customers with inquiries. A friendly demeanour and strong communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their ordering needs. Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the till. Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments while maintaining a balanced till. Pack orders, Provide product information and support to customers, answering any questions they may have. Maintain a clean and organised checkout area. Assist in restocking shelves and ensuring the store is well-presented. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries over the phone.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a customer service or cashier role is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills in English Ability to take and packing orders effectively through upselling techniques. Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently. A friendly and approachable personality that fosters positive customer interactions. Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently when required.

Pay: 24,000.00-27,000.00 per year
