Job Description

On behalf of Royal London, AMS are seeking a Customer Service Consultant for a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension. This role will be based at Royal London's offices in Haymarket Yards, Edinburgh EH12 5BH.



What you'll be doing



You'll be joining a dedicated team focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience. This is a fast-paced, service-oriented role where you'll act as the first point of contact for customers, managing enquiries and helping to resolve queries quickly and professionally.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Managing customer enquiries via inbound/outbound calls and written correspondence Responding to queries in a timely, professional manner while managing expectations Accurately logging all interactions and updating customer records to meet regulatory standards Working collaboratively with your team to ensure consistent, high-quality service Supporting Royal London's purpose of putting customers first in every interaction

About you



To succeed in this role, you'll need to bring energy, empathy, and attention to detail. You don't need to come from a financial services background, but

strong communication and a commitment to great customer care are essential

.

We're looking for individuals who:

Have experience in a customer service role (telephone or face-to-face) Always put the customer first and show genuine care in resolving their queries Communicate clearly, professionally, and with empathy Are comfortable managing and prioritising multiple queries in a fast-paced setting Have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Are reliable, collaborative, and eager to learn

What's on offer?



14.01 per hour

Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

6-month contract, options for extensions are available.

28th July Start Date

Full-time, office-based in Edinburgh. - Hybrid working available after training.
