CLdN RoRo Ltd. wish to recruit a Customer Service Coordinator to work in our Liverpool terminal. This role will involve working on a rota basis. Flexibility to change working hours when cover is required is essential. This is a temporary position, with no fixed term at present. The successful candidate will be entitled to one month's notice - further details will be discussed at interview. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and at least one year's customer service experience.
The role
Process customer bookings and queries by phone / email / Connect
Responsible for Connect - updating times and sending announcements
Advise customers of schedule change / non shipments / incidents / general communication
Assist Operations in priority shipments / collating shipping lists / monitor block bookings
Input of hazardous goods in Connect
Assist in related admin duties
Investigating and resolving customer complaints
Learn how to use C-Connect and help customers with online requests
Work as part of a team to promote all CLdN routes
Any duties that may arise to contribute to the day-to-day running of the department
Your profile
It is important that you have a good work ethic and pro-active approach
You will have good interpersonal and communication skills
Good IT skills are desirable for use of in-house computerised systems
You must be a self-motivated individual
Good timekeeping is essential
Ability to prioritise workload whilst working to tight timescales in accordance with company policies
You must be able to work within a team.
Must be willing to undertake any duties that may arise to contribute to the day-to-day running of the department
You must also be willing to work to a flexible timetable to meet the changing patterns of work and cover when required, which could include working at other Ports within the UK and Europe
