Customer Service Specialist (Account Ops)



Temp to Perm 3 months, very likely to go permanent with the right candidate.

We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic individual looking to pursue their career in a fast-paced environment. You will utilise your strong communication skills to work confidently with internal and external customers, assisting in the general operations within the Customer Service department.

As our Customer Service Specialist, you will have the ability to manage the end-to-end order process and workflows using tools such as SAP and CRM platforms along with Excel.

What can you expect from the role?



Understanding your Client's Business & Needs. Building and maintaining relationships with existing customers over teams and email.

Respond to customer queries, liaise with relevant departments if necessary and provide feedback to customers on completion or regularly update them.

Order processing. Actioning any changes to PO - rescheduling. Communicate to customers and relevant team all updates. Processing rework, return, repair orders.

Collaborate with Production and Purchasing teams to complete customer orders in time: assisting with shortages and escalations, amending schedule. Communicate and agree with any changes internally and externally.

Raising credit or debit notes.

Updating systems with relevant and accurate information. (Maintaining price list, quotes, RFQs, revisions, customer details, BOM and drawing database).

Work with customers BOMs and drawings, update and create customer quotations.

Revieing and updating Customer orderbook, processing and communicating any changes (internally and externally).

Resolving day-to-day queries relating to the successful delivery of goods.

Assist with sales forecast and Job costings.

Attend and participate in the production meeting.

Identify and escalate to line manager upcoming issues.

Complete relevant tasks requested by line manager.

Creating and recommending solutions to the client's requests and needs.

Assist with Stock Take and Audit.

Skills:



Highly organised individual with attention to detail.

Previous experience within a customer support/sales position.

Proactive, self-motivated, problem solver.

High competence and experienced in Microsoft Excel - this is essential.

Ability to work independently or part of a team, in a fast-paced environment.

Understanding technical drawings is desirable.

Experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.

SAP knowledge is desirable.
