About Us

ShoeString is a small, family-run business specialising in the manufacturing and distribution of shoe care products, laces, and insoles. We work with a wide variety of retailers, from independents and online sellers to manufacturers and high-street chains. With strong foundations in our industry, we're now looking to grow our online presence and strengthen our e-commerce channels.

The Role

We're looking for a customer service superstar who's not afraid of spreadsheets, loves solving problems, and enjoys learning new tools. You'll play a key part in the day-to-day running of our online stores, supporting customers and helping to keep our operations efficient and organised.

Every day brings something new -- new products, new customers, new challenges -- and we're looking for someone who's excited to jump in, learn, and help things run smoothly.

While the role is mainly office-based, you'll also

occasionally lend a hand in the warehouse

-- helping with packing, stock checks, or organising products when needed.

We are open to discussions of hours for this role, whether part time to work around school hours or up to full time.

Key Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service across all our online platforms (Amazon, eBay, Etsy, and our own websites).

Manage orders, returns, and customer queries efficiently and professionally.

Support listing management, product updates, and general website maintenance.

Learn and use new tools, including AI-powered platforms, to improve processes and productivity.

Assist with other day-to-day e-commerce operations as needed.

About You

Strong customer service background with a positive, "can-do" attitude.

Confident using Excel

Curious and quick to learn new systems -- especially in the world of e-commerce and AI.

Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented. Comfortable multitasking and working independently once trained.

Experience with Amazon Seller Central, eBay, or Etsy is a bonus, but full training will be provided.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 21,800.00-30,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
