We are currently recruiting for Delivery Technician - Drivers, to join our busy and evolving transport team in our 2-person Home Delivery Network, working for a leading logistics company.
As a home delivery driver, you'll be responsible for delivering products from the Warehouse/Distribution Centre to our customers residences; ensuring our products are delivered safely with an exceptional service.

Salary: 40,542.10
Shift Pattern Working 4 days per week Monday - Saturday on a 3-week rotating shift pattern.
(5 days off together during rest days every 3 weeks)
Location: Bedford
Essential skills required:

• Valid and in date LGV, HGV Class 2 licence or 7.5t licence
• Valid Digital Tachograph card
• An up-to-date Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• A good understanding of Drivers hours, legislation, and WTD
• No more than 6 points endorsed on your driving licence.
• DBS required in which the company will provide
• Attention to details
• Ability to assess, lift and manage heavy items as part of a 2/3- or 4-person crew.

Experience & Key Skills

• Clear and effective communication skills for conveying delivery information, addressing customer inquiries, and providing updates on delivery status.
• Maintaining a professional demeanour throughout interactions with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders
• Presenting oneself neatly, in a professional manner and adhering to company dress code policies.
• Understanding the importance of delivering exceptional service and striving to exceed customer expectations.
• Effective time management skills to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to delivery schedules and deadlines.
• This role is hands on, it involves heavy lifting/ handling and is full of variety. It is therefore essential that the successful applicant is capable to carry out this nature of work.
• Flexibility in work hours may be required to accommodate operational needs and respond to emergencies or unplanned events outside of regular business hours.
