The Role





This role covers 35 hours per week. Shifts will take place between 06:10 am and 23:00 pm, including a combination of early, lates, weekends, and Bank Holidays across a rotating 6-week roster.
You must be able to arrange your own transport to ensure timely arrival for early and late shifts
Candidates will be required to undergo the appropriate medical for the role.
Full training provided and uniform provided, knowledge of ticket types would be beneficial.
Persons need to be aged 18 or above for this role.

Salary for this role is 31,996, plus annual Shift and Sunday Allowances. Shift allowance of 1,988, & Sunday allowance of 2,335.

Key Responsibilities









In this role, you will provide outstanding customer service, ensuring that passengers have a seamless and safe travel experience. Your primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:Cover Customer Service duties across all areas of the station Assisting customers at the gateline and ensuring the safe, tidy and efficient operation of the gates Helping to prevent ticketless travel and fraudulent activity Reporting any faults and issues promptly Assisting passengers with tickets, including checking them, general advice and making sure the gates operate Providing the highest possible standard of advice, information and service to our customers Delivering a safe, attractive retail station environment, with general cleaning, de-icing Participating in the safe running of trains and a safe station environment by complying with procedures Promoting all relevant marketing materials and useful information Work to fully meet the requirements of passengers, including during times of disruption, when there are service issues or emergencies Provide passenger assistance to our passengers, meeting and greeting and dealing with onward travel arrangement to ensure everyone has the support required to meet their individual needs as a passenger
