An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new colleague to join our Customer Services Department at J T Ellis. The ideal candidate will have some experience of working in a manufacturing, production, B2B, order entry and end user customer service environment. You will take on full ownership of Customer communications including inbound and outbound calls as well as email queries and enquiries, with the aim to delight the customer, whether it be internal or external, at every opportunity to ensure expectations are exceeded. Communication skills are integral to this role This is an office-based position, working Monday - Friday from our Head Office in Huddersfield West Yorkshire
Responsibilities
Maintain a high level of communication with customers and external field based colleagues, via telephone, email and TEAMS
Build sustainable relationships of trust with customers
Own the Customer Journey: Take full ownership of customer interactions, ensuring issues are resolved from start to finish.
Resolve Issues Rapidly: Identify and troubleshoot customer concerns efficiently, ensuring swift resolutions that exceed expectations.
Requirements
Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong problem-solving ability with a customer-first mindset
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Empathy, patience, and adaptability
Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to identifying customer needs
Ability to quickly grasp an understanding of a relatively complex product range - full training will be provided.
