Dunns Food and Drinks are Scotland\xe2\x80\x99s premier food and drink supplier to the hospitality industry. We source and distribute over five thousand products from essential culinary ingredients to beers, spirits and wines to restaurant kitchens and bars across the country. We are currently looking to recruit diligent, organised people who have the natural instinct to go above and beyond providing exceptional customer service, to join our existing team based at our Blantyre head office. The role combines customer relationship management with order processing and problem-solving to help us create the very best customer experience we can. Primarily the role will be serving as the customers primary point of contact answering/ replying to customer calls and emails, processing orders over the phone, via email and our website, suggesting, promoting, and pricing products, dealing with any enquiries or issues that may arise. The role is varied and requires a degree of flexibility being able to adapt quickly and prioritise your workload. First and foremost, you should be a great communicator, and be able to engage in a warm and friendly way with your contacts. You must have the ability to form close working relationships with colleagues across departments. Particularly with our field-based sales managers, with whom you will work collaboratively to build business growth. Ideally some experience in the Food and Drink trade would be preferred but not essential. Ensuring customers receive outstanding service is a top priority and you will receive full training and support in understanding the products and services we offer. You will be a valuable member of the Customer Service team, contributing to the success of the business whilst working with a great team of people and having fun along the way. THE ROLE

SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Ideally previous experience in a customer service environment
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to work on your own and prioritise your workload
  • Friendly and eager to learn
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
